Provincial-Level and Above R&D Platform Cluster


The Technology Center oversees four provincial-level R&D platforms: the Hebei Provincial High-Purity Pig Iron Technology Innovation Center, the Hebei Provincial Ultra-Purity Iron Engineering Research Center, and the Hebei Provincial Pure Iron Materials and Application Industry Technology Research Institute. Collaborating with core subsidiaries of the group—Longfengshan Chenxin New Materials and Pure Iron R&D Company—it forms an innovation pattern of "one center, multiple platforms, and the entire industry chain." The laboratory is CNAS accredited and equipped with internationally leading testing and pilot-scale equipment, including ultra-high vacuum zone furnaces, electron probe microanalyzers, and infrared carbon-sulfur analyzers, possessing the capability for full-process R&D and verification of pure iron from 3N to 6N grades.

Core Breakthroughs: Two Milestone Technological Leaps

2010: Independently developed high-purity pig iron, breaking the foreign monopoly, filling a domestic gap, achieving import substitution, and becoming the first enterprise in China to master the "three-precision method" technology for smelting high-purity pig iron in large blast furnaces.

2017: Based on high-purity pig iron, pioneered the "blast furnace refining + deep purification" process, successfully developing ultra-high-purity pig iron with world-leading purity and stability.

2024: In collaboration with teams from Shanghai University and others, overcame the technical challenges of preparing 5N-grade (99.9992%) ultra-pure iron, setting a new domestic limit for iron purification and supporting breakthroughs in "bottleneck" fields such as aerospace, semiconductors, and superconducting materials.

R&D Direction: Focusing on the "Materials Foundation" of High-End Equipment
The Technology Center focuses on four core products: high-purity pig iron, ultra-high-purity pig iron, high-purity iron, and ultra-pure iron, with key research and development efforts in:
* Ultra-pure smelting and purification technology for iron-based materials;
* Development of customized iron-based new materials for high-end equipment;
* Green and low-carbon smelting and resource recycling technology;
* Material reliability research under extreme operating conditions (nuclear power, deep sea, high-speed rail).

Our products are widely used in high-speed rail, wind power, nuclear power, marine engineering, aerospace and other fields, achieving full coverage of cast iron-based new materials for high-end equipment manufacturing, and contributing to the independent control of "major national equipment".
